Painting the Milk House

Thanks to the Miller brothers – Lester, Richard and Bob – who volunteered their time to give the Milk House some new lumber and a fresh coat of paint. Scroll down to see the surprising discovery they made within its walls!

Hidden within the walls of the Milk House was this Official Democratic Calendar of Berks Co. from 1931, which features George A. Dreibelbis running for the Register of Wills. The milk house must have been very well constructed to preserve this 90 year old document in such good condition.
